5 Ways To Determine The Best Article Submission Sites

Every day new articles directories are popping up. I regularly receive invitations from new directory owners inviting me to submit articles. The question is, should you contribute content to these new sites? In my case, I routinely submit my articles to about 30 sites. As you can imagine, it is a fairly time consuming process. As a result, I only submit my articles to the best article submission sites. In most cases, you will maximize your marketing results by contributing to the best article submission sites. My definition of the best articles submission sites is as follows:

1. It must be a site that has been around for a while. I don't want to spend my time submitting to a brand new site only to see that the owner is not making enough money and closes the site in two months. My time is too precious to waste on fledgling sites.

2. I only submit to sites that have a Page Rank of 4 or above. Search engines could penalize your site if you have tons of links with poorly ranked sites. To ensure this doesn't happen to my sites, I only submit to sites with good Page Rank numbers.

3. Another of my qualifications for best article submission sites is a timely publishing schedule. I hate it when I spend my time submitting articles to a site and the editors still haven't reviewed and published my articles from 10 days ago. When this happens, I immediately drop them from my submission list.

4. Traffic - mine, not theirs. I check on where my traffic is coming from each day. It is a time consuming process, but it is very much worthwhile. If I notice that I am not getting any traffic from a particular directory, I drop from my list. As far as I'm concerned, there is no sense in sending my content to directories that are not benefiting me.

5. About once a month, I will view my article stats from each of the directories that I submit to. If the stats show lackluster page views, I will consider dropping them from my list and adding a site that I feel can be more productive.

To qualify for my list of one of The Best Article Submission Sites, a site must satisfy each of the criteria above. Don't just write articles and submit them to one or two sites that you heard are good. Do some research and submit to sites that can benefit you the most.

This is not an overnight process; it does require time and patience. But writing and submitting articles betters your chance of exposure on a variety of different online venues.
  2. Articles are free advertisement. Provided that you write your own articles, article marketing is a free form of advertisement. Included in each of your articles is a resource box, where you can promote your product or website.
  3. Articles send more traffic to your website. When you write and submit articles with good, informative content, they are more likely to be picked up and published by website owners and newsletter publishers.
  4. Articles build your credibility as an expert. The more articles you write and submit, the greater your following will become. In addition, you will create an expert status for yourself within your niche.

Article Marketing - How to Write 20 Articles per Day

Article marketing of course is the process of writing articles, embedding them with links to your website, and submitting them to the various online directories that accept articles for online publishing. Article marketing in my opinion is one of the best ways to get quality, responsive traffic to your website. However, with article marketing, if you really going to make a full-time income out of it, you have to write prolifically. Many days I write over 20 articles per day. I do not do it because it is fun, I do it because it is lucrative.

I have to admit, it is hard to write 20 articles per day. After I have written about 10 articles, my mind becomes less creative. I think it would be easier to write 20 articles per day, or at least 10 articles per day, if I were writing really long articles, and then breaking them up into smaller articles. But because I do not do that, I have to come up with 10 to 20 new article topics every single day. And that is the most difficult part.

So how do I do it? Or more rightfully so how should you do it?

The first thing to do is to write out 20 article topics at the beginning of the day. That way towards the end of the day, when you get to the 12th article or the 15th article, you do not give up because you are in creative mind, and at this point, cannot come up with any new article titles or topics. This also helps you mentally, because you believe you have not finish the project until you've written at least the 20 articles.

Once I have written 20 article topics, then I begin to write about 300 words about each article topic. I write conversationally, just the way I think about it. I think this makes it easier.

One of the most important things about trying to write 20 articles per day is that you have to be committed to it. You see 20 articles per day times 20 days in the month (I don't work weekends), equals 400 articles per month. If some days you only write 10 articles and some days you only write five articles and some days you don't write any. And maybe a few days you write 20 articles at the end of the month maybe only have 100 articles or 200 articles -- which is much less than half the income from 400 articles.

Online Article Writing - Giving the Reader Confidence in Your Expert Status

If you write online articles it is important to relate to the reader that you truly know what you are talking about and give them confidence in your expert status. There are many ways to do this and it is best to let it ride or leave it subtly implied. It is best to show them not tell them, although telling them might also be a good idea. For instance after writing 11,111 articles online I am an expert in online article writing and therefore you as a reader might learn quite a bit from me.

This is one way to work into the article the fact that you know what you are talking about. Recently this subject became a very popular subject at the top online article submission website on the Internet, when some asked on the Blog:

Article Marketing - How Can Your Really Become Successful With Article Marketing?

First of all, we must define success in article marketing. If you do not know what you are trying to achieve, then how will you know if you have made it or not?

Before we can even talk about how to define success in article marketing, we must think about what are the possible goals with article marketing.

There are two general ways to make money with article marketing: direct traffic, and building long term inbound links to help you gain high search engine rankings for long term traffic.

In the first case, direct traffic, you will be writing a larger number of articles (100-200 per month if you are fulltime online) and submitting them to a small number of high-traffic article directories.

In the second case, you will be writing a smaller number of articles (perhaps 10 per month) and submitting them to up to about 200+ article directories online. This will create high numbers of backlinks to your web site, which will help increase your search engine rankings, so you can develop long-term sources of income.

Which to choose? I think you should have some mix of both of course you have to decide how much of each you want, as any time spent on one takes time away from the other.

One of the biggest keys to success with article marketing is quantifying your goals online and with article marketing, then going out and doing them. That means if you commit to 200 articles written and submitted this month, if you get behind you simply have to work extra to catch up.

Article Marketing Tips 101 - The Importance of Good Keyword Selection

If you are using article marketing to generate traffic for your site, it's important to use the right keyword selection to get the most out of it. It's also crucial that the article be structured with search engine optimization in mind.

To find the right keyword selection to use when writing your articles, you should use a keyword tool.

There are three tool that I recommend:

1. Google Sanbox Tool: Google offers a free tool and this can be a great place to start. The one drawback about using Google's free tool is that it doesn't give exact numbers. You'll get search volumes and competition for a particular keyword as a ratio based on the other keywords in that category.

2. Wordtracker: Wordtracker is a great keyword tool because not only does it quickly generate key term lists, but it also gives you the amount of searches performed for each term and the amount of competition you will have. They use the "KEI" index which stand for Keyword Effectiveness Index so you can easily know which keywords are worth it and which aren't. You can actually try it for free by using the link at the end of this article.

3. Keyword Elite: This tool is not only a valuable keyword finding tool, it's also a versatile tool for finding hidden niches and google adsense campaigns. When you use it to find search terms, it gives you much more information that the other tools. You will know how many people search for that term, how many results are found on the web, how many ad campaigns exist for google, miva (yahoo) and enhance (msn), and how much advertisers are paying for each keyword with google adwords. Not only that, but you also get to see exactly what each ads look like which is great if you are running PPC campaigns.

In order to properly optimize your articles for search engines, be sure to include the selected key term numerous times in the text. Using special text such as bold, underline and italics on the keyword also makes it stand out. Be careful not to overdo it because if you do, your article may be discounted by the search engines as spam. If you keep the density at or below 3%, you will be fine.

Using the appropriate keyword selection will ensure that your article marketing efforts are not wasted on highly competitive niches. It will also give a chance for your articles to rank high on the search engines which will result in more natural traffic to your site.
