Succeed Quicker On The Internet With These Time Saving Strategies

A majority of us who want to venture into starting a new Internet home business do so only on a part time basis. Not all of us can afford to just quit our day jobs on the spot. We still need to pay our bills until we reach a level of earning legitimate money online that will change our lives dramatically. Until we achieve those financial goals, our largest dilemma is finding time to work on our home business outside of our regular jobs. If you implement a few powerful but simple strategies of time management you can easily save several valuable hours a week that can be used towards developing your success online a lot quicker.

Procrastination is your worst enemy of making legitimate money online. You simply can't afford to do that when juggling an online business, a 9 to 5 job, your family and other important affairs. Wether you're tired when you come home from work or just lazy, it's vital that you move beyond any procrastination and set into motion an action plan to get you going. Give yourself daily goals to work on as soon as you have free time for your business. You have to create a sense of urgency and importance to complete these goals every single day. Learn to get excited and enthusiastic about developing your home business that will eventually fulfill your dreams of success online. Always take immediate action to avoid the destructive path to procrastination that goes nowhere. The sooner you start doing this, the quicker your success will come to you.

You can still progress your home business even when working at your day job or doing other activities. You can find time during your breaks or when there are certain pauses during work that give you a few minutes here and there. Activities such as exercise, chores, shopping, picking up the kids up at school or running errands can be done while thinking about your business. These are perfect opportunities where you can brainstorm about ideas related to the development of your home business.

Brainstorming ideas is a great way to improve your Internet home business. However, if you don't write down your ideas right away, all of that time thinking will be wasted. How many times have you stared blankly at your computer screen trying to think of the great ideas you came up with the other day? Great ideas come in waves. If you don't catch them in writing, you will lose out on some potential Internet gold for your home business. If you're on the go, a simple pen and pad will do. Most of you have cell phones with features such as voice recording, word processing or email capability that can easily be used to take notes down. Even with the most basic phones, you can use the text messaging application to jot your ideas down and save the draft for later reference. Just ensure that you get them written down.

The more time you can find for your Internet home business, the more quickly you will find your success online. Take action right now and commit to moving beyond procrastination by completing the daily goals that you set for yourself. Take full advantage of the unused time at your day job or during those every day activities to come up with ideas that will help grow your business. Always write down your ideas as soon as they come to light. This will prove to be a huge benefit to continually developing your growth online. The key is to always take action. Don't wait around and waste precious time that you can never get back. Now is the best time to get started. Good luck to you and your success!

Productive Article Marketing - 5 Amazing Methods to Impact Your Article Marketing

A lot of people have successfully grown their ebusiness by just using article marketing. This powerful marketing tool allows you to offer online users what they are exactly looking for whenever they go online - information.

Here are the 5 amazing methods to impact your article marketing:

1. Solve a problem. Identify the issues that are affecting your target market and present solutions through your content. If you are writing for people who are combating unwanted weight gain, you can write about different exercises to tone their bodies, effective diet pills, and tried-and-tested diet programs.

2. Bank on your titles. The first step to succeed in article marketing is to get people to notice your articles so they will be opened and read. You can easily do this by using titles that are intriguing, striking, attention-grabbing, and direct to the point. It would also greatly help if you can communicate the readers' benefits on your headlines to further compel online users to check on your content.

3. Empathize. Let your readers know that you understand where they are coming from and that you have sound solutions to their problems. This can help you easily establish rapport and trust among your potential clients.

4. Make your articles search engine-friendly. Increase the chances of your articles being found online by sprinkling relevant keywords on your content and on your titles. Observe proper keyword density to avoid being tagged as keyword abuser.

5. Know your target market. To make your articles highly targeted and focused to the needs of your readers, you need to get to know the people to whom you are writing for before writing your content. Identify their gender, their hobbies, occupation, social status, educational background, etc. The more you know about your audience, the better you will become in creating content that they will find useful and relevant to their lives.

Email Marketing Strategies - 3 Fast And Easy Email Marketing Strategies

Email marketing is a very powerful tool and when used properly, has the ability to bring in massive profits in a very short period of time.

The following email marketing strategies will help you boost your results and give you the maximum return with your campaigns.

Tip #1 - Keep your email message short and the point.

Don't use long boring copy in your email messages. Stay on target with your readers. Make sure that each email you send contains just enough information to make your readers take action.

Tip #2 - Make sure your content is relevant and contains useful and helpful information. Don't send offer after offer to your list members. Give them free reports and free ebook that will be of great help to them.

Try to make sure you use one or two emails per week for nothing but content. No sales pitches. No selling.

This keeps your list fresh and responsive and will allow you to get consistent results from your email marketing strategies.

Tip #3 - Be sure to personalize every email message you send. Your main goal is to create a sense of trust with your list members or subscribers.

Use their first name in the subject line of your emails and in the introduction of the actual message. Building a bind with your list is important.

People will buy from someone they know and trust and if you follow these email marketing strategies, you will be able to make the most out of all your efforts.

10 Powerful Internet Marketing Strategies That Bring In Sales

Increasing website traffic is the name of the game on the internet. It's important to note, however that there is no one thing that can bring instant traffic or ongoing sales. It's a combination of strategies that promote contact and networking.

Not all strategies work for everyone, so it's important to know what the options are, utilize a few that look appealing and stick with what works for you.

Here's a few tips and strategies that have worked for me. Give them all a try or perhaps just one. Any or all can make a healthy difference:

1. Write A Press Release

A press release is not a sales pitch and sales hype is not allowed. It is, however, your chance to provide your business story which can be a powerful form of marketing. When writing your press release you'll want to provide the who, what, where, when, how and why of your business. Create interest by detailing who you are, what you are about, why you went into business, but more importantly, how your customers have benefited.

An effective press release can create a newsworthy story that is capable of creating buzz and interest all across the web for a long time to come.

2. Create A Blog

Whether you have a website or not, a blog is an ideal tool for giving you and/or your business a favorable presence.

Think of a blog as a diary. Create your blog by posting your products and information. Then on a daily or weekly basis add additional products, information or comments. Invite comments from others and before you know it you'll have a steady stream of visitors.

If you don't have a website, creating a blog is a great place to start and you can create one for free. If you do have a website, a blog will help generate visitors. The beauty of blogs is that you can also add Google adsense ads for additional revenue.

3. Create Special Offers

A limited time sales offer will encourage your visitors to act. If you have customers that are interested in your products, give them an occasional boost by holding a sale. Chances are they've been eyeing your products for some time, and with a special offer incentive, they just might take the leap.

4. Use Pay Per Click Advertising

Every internet business owner should consider pay per click advertising. It's fast, it's targeted and can be cheap if done correctly. Therein lies the key, you must research how to create a cost effective pay per click campaign.

It's not rocket science. You simply need to write a compelling ad, research relevant keywords and understand your return on investment. This means that if your product earns you $20 per sale then you must pay no more than 20 cents per keyword, preferably less. For example, on average, your ad will bring in one sale per 100 clicks on that ad. If 100 clicks brings one $20 sale then you've just paid $20 for that ad (100 x .20) and you broke even. Therefore, your goal should be to pay less than 20 cents per keyword but no more. Finding relevant, less popular keywords is goal.

Of course, the better the ad and the better your website's sales copy performs, the more sales you will receive.

5. Write An Article

Don't put this one off. The internet is designed to deliver information and what better way for you to get the word out about you, your business and your expertise than by providing relevant, useful information. If you're selling scrapbooks, write an article on how to scrapbook. A well written article can show someone how easy scrapbooking is, boost their interest and therefore encourage a sale.

If writing an article is not something you feel you can do, have it written for you, it's not expensive and it's one of the best ways to bring traffic to your site.

6. Carefully Optimize Your Site For The Search Engines

Don't build your site and forget it. Utilize the search engines to your benefit by taking the time to optimize your site. Optimization doesn't have to be complex. Simply create a title that clearly depicts what your site is about and write a description that accurately describes to your readers what information you have to offer. Research relevant keyword phrases as opposed to single words and repeat that phrase in your title, description and throughout your page.

7. Create A Newsletter

Your goal should be to keep your viewers coming back to your site over and over again. The best way to keep in touch with viewers is through publishing a newsletter or a periodical that offers beneficial, useful information.

Post a newsletter form on your site and specifically direct your viewers to sign-up. Don't just expect them to notice that you have a newsletter, direct them there and be specific about what your newsletter offers.

By publishing a weekly newsletter you are reminding your readers of your products, sales or upcoming events. Avoid pushy sales tactics and sales hype. Simply offer useful information, tips and advice. Make your newsletter a thing of value by keeping them interested and encouraged.

It's important to remember that it takes an average of 7 visits for a viewer to buy; they're not likely to visit seven times without a reminder.

8. Offer Something Free

We all love free and the internet is no exception.

- If you publish a newsletter, offer a free ebook or free e-course in exchange for an email address. In your newsletter also offer a free tips section that pertains to your site's topic.

- If someone makes a purchase, consider offering a free bonus, this often prompts sales.

- Offer free teleseminars. This is an excellent way to let your viewers hear your voice and experience who you really are. It builds trust and they won't soon forget who you are and what you are about.

9. Make A Donation

Create a promotion where you will be donating a percentage of your proceeds to your favorite charity. Donating money or services to your favorite charity builds trust and a positive image for your business. I'd much rather buy from someone that donates a few dollars to a worthy cause than someone who doesn't.

10. Participate In Discussion Forums

Take the time to find online forums that are relevant to your business. By responding to questions, offering advice or posting your articles, others will see you as an expert in your field as well as someone willing to help. Posting on a weekly basis will allow readers to become familiar with you and your business as well as regarding you as a respected authority.

When registering on a forum be sure to create a signature file that includes your website address. This will post your website address each time you make a forum entry.

Your business will do well to perform each and every strategy noted above, however, performing just one of these powerful marketing strategies will improve your chances of drawing visitors to your site, but more importantly, it will help keep them coming back.

Article Marketing - How to Improve Your Targeted Lead Generation Using Article Writing Techniques

Like most internet marketers, network marketers and online business owners you are always searching to find responsive sources of targeted lead generation and increased web site traffic, at least thats what I am constantly being asked about.

You have heard it all before, all the things you must do:

  • Target your market
  • Increase web site traffic
  • Entice responses to your opt in forms
  • Collect your leads contact information
  • Improve conversion rates
  • Build your lists
  • Monetize your lists

Your question is still - How do you do that effectively?

Start by learning how to deploy an article writing strategy to target your lead generation efforts by:

  1. Researching the categories in popular article directories, and select topics that are relevant to your target market for your article writing campaign
  2. Researching keyword phrases related to those topics, for example, if you Google "targeted lead generation" or "lead generation you will find the competition is 11, 300 for the former compared to 1,900,000 for the latter, hence you would use the phrase "targeted lead generation" to attract visitors interested in that segment of the broader lead generation market.
  3. Targeting your keyword phrases in your article writing, to improve your conversion rate of article readers to visit the "targeted lead generation" anchor text in the link of your articles "bio" or "resource box" leading them to your web site.
  4. Providing valuable content to help your readers answer their questions, or solve the problem is your primary purpose in article writing. By doing so you will establish yourself as a "go-to" resource in your target market, that your targeted leads will want to hear from, so they will be willing to give you their contact information, if you ask them in an appropriate manner.

Article Marketing - Three Tips to Using Articles to Promote Your Online Business

If you've started an online business, you know that you need to promote consistently to get traffic and sales. Although there are many ways you can promote, article marketing delivers great, on-going results at minimal cost. In this article we'll look at the top three tips for using articles to market your business.

Here they are:

1. Post articles on article directories

Not familiar with article marketing? Marketing using articles means offering free information as a form of advertising. Not only will your business become more widely known, it will also gain respect and credibility.

Article marketing is a form of advertising, but it's much more effective than advertising, because when you stop paying for an ad, you lose traffic. Your articles stay online, and will bring traffic to your Web site for years.

Once you've written an article, post it to article directories online. You can choose a general directory, or one which is more targeted to your audience.

Over time, your articles will spread across the Web, bringing a flow of traffic. You won't see the full effects of your article publishing push for months, so it's important that when you start article marketing, you keep creating and publishing them - their effect on your site's traffic is cumulative.

2. Post articles to your own Web sites and blogs

In addition to posting articles on article directories, post them to your site as well. This increases your site's content, and will boost your site in the search engine rankings.

Before you start publishing your articles to your site, create a structure, so that your articles form a real resource for your site's visitors. Although you'll still get traffic if you just dump all your articles into an "Articles" directory, you'll get better results if you think about leading your site's visitors around your site to make a purchase or take other action when they arrive at one of your articles.

After you've published an article on your site, don't move it elsewhere on your site unless it's absolutely necessary, because if you do, you'll break links which other sites have created to reference specific articles.

3. Post article collections to sites like Squidoo and Scribd

The more backlinks (links pointing to your site) the better. There are many ways you can get more backlinks. One of the easiest ways is to post your articles on sites like Squidoo and Scribd.

Squidoo allows you to create "lenses", one-page topic sites. Create several lenses on topics relevant to your site, and post article collections to these lenses, pointing back to your site. Not only are your lenses a source of backlinks, they're also a source of traffic.

Squidoo is very popular; you can build a real community there, providing further support to your site.

The Scribd site lets you put documents online, and make them public. Think of Scribd as YouTube for documents. Collect your articles into collections, and post them to Scribd. You can post your articles in a variety of formats: text, HTML, Adobe PDF, and more.

As with Squidoo, you can build a community at Scribd when people make your documents favorites. Scribd will bring your site traffic, and will increase your backlinks too.

So there you are - you now have three powerful ways in which you can use article marketing to promote your online business.

Article Marketing - 5 Tips for a Massive Income

Did you know you can make a massive income online, just by writing articles? "Article marketing", which is basically writing articles which act as advertising, is popular online. If you can write articles, you're golden.

So let's look at five tips which will help you to turn your skill at writing articles into cash.

1. Write articles to promote affiliate products

One of the easiest ways to make money with your articles is to use them to promote affiliate products. When you're promoting such products, you make a commission from every sale which was made via your link.

When you're writing to make an affiliate sale, don't write a "sales" article - you're not trying to sell directly from the article. Write an informative article, or a review.

The amount of money you make writing articles for affiliate products depends on the number of (good) articles you can write each day.

2. Offer an article writing service

We all see thousands of advertisements a day. They're everywhere we look. We're force-fed advertising online, on TV, and on radio. This makes us deaf and blind to advertising.

However, articles cut through the noise. Articles are useful, so we're not blind to them: this makes article marketing a perfect solution for clever marketers to advertise their wares.

Since articles do work well, many marketers are looking for people to write articles for them.

If you offer an article writing service, you will soon have more buyers than you can handle.

All you need to set up your service is a small Web site. Promote your site using... you guessed it, article marketing.

3. Create an article writing schedule

This is all well and good - you can make money writing articles. However, you need to be able to get the articles written in a timely manner. This means scheduling your article writing, and getting them written.

The more you write, the more income you can make, so schedule your article writing each day.

4. Turn your articles into reports and ebooks

Once you get into the swing of article writing, your articles will mount up. You've got hundreds (and over time, thousands) of articles on your hard drive. Don't let them languish there. Use them.

A tip: if you write articles for others and get paid, the copyright passes to them, because your articles are "work done for hire". You can't repurpose those article - don't reuse them, because you no longer have the right to do that.

However, you can certainly repurpose any articles you've written for yourself: you retain the copyright, and you can turn your articles into reports and ebooks to either give away, use as a promotion, or to sell.

5. Create a membership site from your articles

Enthusiasts love getting fresh, timely information on their passion. So once you've written a batch of articles on a topic which has eager readers, consider creating a membership site for them. As you write new articles on the topic, post them to the membership site.

What topics make good membership sites? Just about any topic which has magazines which service those enthusiasts. Consider topics like knitting, golf, home maintenance and repair, beauty tips - the possibilities are endless.

So there you have five tips which will help you to make a great income from article marketing. Start writing today.

Increase Your Google Page Rank With This Good Tip

If you have ever been to Las Vegas then what I am about to tell you will probably ring a bell in your mind and make you say "ah ha", but if you have not been there it will still make a lot of sense in regards to what it means for your link exchange program.

Before we get to that I just want to make sure you are up to date in our series on how to properly go about using some tips we already shared with in regards on how to raise that Google page rank.

By now you have read our first three articles on raising your Google page rank (available to read from our website). You know that you need to get other websites to link to yours which helps raise that score. You also know that not all links are created equal and that in order to have your website look favorable to the Google algorithm you need to exchange links the right way.

Now that you are up to speed lets get back to our Vegas analogy. When you go to Vegas and enter into a casino (most of the big ones anyway), they set it up in such a way where you need to go through the entire casino floor in order for you to exit. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense for them. They do not want people coming in and then turning right around to leave. They want them to walk through, listen to and see the sights and sounds of the slot machines, table games, drink girls and so on. Chances are people will stop to play a quick slot, maybe pick up some literature on a show you name it. None of this would be possible if people were allowed to walk in and then walk right out.

So what does this have to do with the Google page rank? I`ll give you a second or two to see if you can think of where I am going with this...ok a little longer...a little longer. Give up? The analogy is one way. The casino is trying to create one way traffic in order for the customer to stop and spend a little money. Think one way for an explosion of Google page rank increase.

The strongest link you will ever have linking back to your website is....a one way link. One way links carry the greatest weight in the Google algorithm. A one way link, if you think about it, tells Google that the website where the link can be found thinks highly enough of the website it is pointing to that it is willing to tell its visitors about it and not have a link point back.

If you want to increase that Google page rank, and do so in a hurry, then you need to get yourself one way links. It is by far one of the strongest links you can have pointing to your site.

The next question is obviously how do you get one way links. Look for websites, such as classified ad sites, promotion sites that allow you to create free ads. Our site, MySpace, Facebook are a few I can think of off the top of my head that allow this. Simply place the ad or promotion with the link back to your site, then continue to re-run the ad or promotion every time it expires. It may sound daunting to do this every 14 to 21 days, but imagine the weight of a one way link from these high ranking websites to your site. It will drive that Google page rank right up there.

So get your link exchange program going, get those one way links and start raising the Google page rank. In our next article we will talk about the importance of dates and time and what it means to the increase in your Google page rank.

Article Marketing On Steroids - Advanced Tips To Boost Your Profits

Let me ask you a very important question. Are you still struggling to see results from your article marketing efforts? In this article I would like to go through some advanced methods that you can use to get the most out of your article marketing efforts.

1) Send all your traffic to a squeeze page

I see many article marketers making this mistake. They send the traffic that they get from article marketing to an affiliate link or their own sales page of the product that they sell. It is very important that you send traffic to your own squeeze page. The primary reason for this is that the conversion will be very low if you send traffic to a sales page directly. If you are lucky you may get a one percent conversion rate. By first capturing the details of your subscriber and building a relationship with them you will significantly improve your conversion.

2) Offer a free report of value

If you are selling a specific product I suggest that you offer a free report for download. Make sure that this is of significant value. This will dramatically improve your conversion rate. By first building credibility and also establishing that you are an expert in you chose niche market you will build up trust with your prospect and this will increase your sales.

3) Hire a ghostwriter

One of the problems that many article marketers face is that they do not have sufficient time to write enough articles with this method of marketing. To be successful with this method of marketing you need to have at least 250 articles to start seeing measurable results. Unfortunately this method of marketing is very time intensive. So if you are struggling to write a lot of articles consider hiring a ghostwriter to help you out.

Article Marketing Secret It's Not All About the Links

You submit an article to as many article directories as possible with a link to your site in the signature block and you get loads of one-way links Thats what we see everyday right? While that statement is true, it is not the key to article marketing success.

The key to article marketing success is obtained by

1. Creating quality articles that are interesting enough for the viewer to follow-through to your signature block and click on your link.

2. Maintaining a constant flow of articles to the top few article directories and sites in your niche.

You may have heard these two statements in the past and chalked it up as not important. If you did, you made a big mistake.

The fact is, your articles MUST be interesting and valuable. If the viewers are not interested enough in your article they will not go past the description, let alone follow-through to your signature block.

At the same time, even if your articles are of great quality and do convert article viewers to website visitors, if you only have a few out there you will not get a considerable amount of traffic from them.

Sure, its true that on rare occasions an article could go completely viral and generate thousands of site views but it is likely? Even if you do have an article or two that goes extremely viral, the traffic will most likely not last.

If you are creating quality articles, every one that you publish to the Internet will bring in a small trickle of website visitors. The more articles you have out there, the larger that trickle will grow.

If you implement the two very basic tips that I just outlined into your article marketing campaign, along with a good signature block and title, you will see the true benefit to article marketing in a very short amount of time.

Productive Article Marketing - Latest 5 Profitable Steps to Grow Your Article Marketing

Numerous webmasters have unleashed the power of article marketing not only in generating enormous traffic to their site but also bringing in targeted, interested visitors for increased profit. If you have been using this technique but haven't gotten its maximum benefits yet, you might be doing something wrong or you might be missing killer secrets. In this article, I will present the latest profitable steps that can help you grow your article marketing to improve your search engine ranking.

a. Provide useful information. The only reason why online users will pay attention to your articles is because they would like to get valuable information. So, in writing your articles be sure that you offer new information that hasn't been or are rarely discussed. It would also help if your contents are timely, relevant to your target market, and above all, useful.

b. Keep your articles short, simple, and easy to understand. Remember, your main objective in writing articles is to showcase your expertise so your potential clients will trust you. If you are using complicated words and never-ending sentences and paragraphs, chances are, you will not succeed in getting your message across. If you want your articles to be read, you have to make sure that they are short, concise, and easy on the eyes.

c. Make your titles work for you. Give you readers a reason to read your articles. How? By simply communicating with them the benefits they can get through your titles.

d. Pick the best article directories. There are hundreds of article directories online but few have huge, steady traffic. Focus your efforts on these article submission sites (which includes ezinearticles and goarticles) to give your articles the maximum exposure.

e. Hire some help. Marketing your articles is serious business. It can be tedious and time-consuming. It would help if you can get someone to write or submit your articles for you on a regular basis. Just make sure that the people who will help you are knowledgeable and reliable.

Internet Article Marketing - Why Is It Better? Here's The Simple Mathematics

Are you trying to make money online? Whether you have products of your own, or you are trying to make money selling affiliate products, article marketing is a sure way to drive targeted traffic to your site. It's simple really, the more articles that you write, the more traffic you are going to get. We know that article marketing's natural selective process prequalifies your prospects. The prospect is qualified, simply because as they choose to progress toward your site, each step indicates an increase in their level of interest.

There is a limited number of ways that a person can come across your article. One, they could just stumble across it by chance. Two, they could find your article listed on a page of a search engine. Three, they could be sent or directed to the article by an ezine or RSS (Real Simple Syndication): some type of subscription or update notification.

Regardless of how they come across the article, it requires some level of choice to read the article, and even more if they finish reading the article. Let's call this qualification number one. They say that of the people who read the article, one to three percent chooses to click the link and visit the website or blog. We'll call this qualification level number two.

After going through the information on your site, this is qualification number three; five to 15 percent of these visitors will make a purchase if you have a decent sales letter and follow up system. This is much better than the one to five percent of people that buy after arriving at your site being lead by some other form of marketing. Thus the reason that article marketing is considered one of the most effective forms of marketing on the Internet.

Directory Links, Are They Worth It? Three Things You Should Know About Directories

I believe that there are at least 3 things to know about anything. Three funny things. Three important things. Three weird things. Three things.

You get the idea.

Three Things ...

You should know about DIRECTORIES

  1. Not all directories are created equal.
  2. A link to your Web site in a reputable directory can have a positive effect on ranking in search engines.
  3. One good directory to be in is Best of the Web.

The best way to naturally build links is with quality, relevant content. But how do we get the initial visibility for our quality content?

Listing in a high quality directory is a good place to start. Directory listings may not offer much traffic these days, but they can help get your site indexed by search engines and build some trust.

It's important to remember that not all directories are equal. Some are great, some are are junk, and some are in between. Google is known to trust some directories more than others. Usually the ones with human editors, that charge a fee and don't accept just any submission.

1. ODP or DMOZ (Open Directory Project). The ODP has been problematic for a few years. It's hard to get reviewed, but the ODP is still a quality link because it feeds the Google Directory.

2. The Yahoo! Directory is another great directory. The Yahoo! directory costs $299 per year and they charge even if they don't accept you.

3. Best of the Web is one of the original Web directories. A quality, human edited, general directory with good interior PageRank and select listings, Best of the Web has an annual review price of $79.95 and a lifetime review price of $239.95. Inclusion in the directory is not guaranteed and your review fee is not refundable.

4. And, of course, EzineArticles.com. The shear volume of quality content in EzineArticles ensures that search engines index these pages frequently. Also, they work vigilantly keeping the site's reputation sparkling, making links from EzineArticles valuable.

Are these directory links worth it?

Trust is a big factor with Google and other search engines these days. Directories that impose strict editorial control and don't accept just anyone boost the trust factor in Google's eyes. It makes that directory and the link to your site, a trusted link ... this is a big deal.

If you're a spammer, you're unlikely to spend hundreds of dollars to try to list your site in quality directories, only to be rejected. Therefore, if you are considered to be a serious, quality Webmaster, and able to get listings in quality directories, Google recognizes that.

These are just a few ideas of how to make directories work harder for your business. If you would like more design, marketing, advertising, and Website tips and advice, including free downloadable articles, visit http://www.pinscreative.com.

Article Marketing For Bloggers - 4 Tips To Build Traffic For Your Blog

Bloggers blog. Thats what they do. A blog is short for weblog and its really an online journal that can be updated easily and frequently without any knowledge of HTML code.

Traditionally, article marketing has been used by authors who are promoting their books or information products. Lately, Ive noticed a growing trend of bloggers using article marketing to grow the traffic to their blog and you should too.

Three reasons why it makes sense for bloggers to engage in article marketing:

1) Youve already got a lot of content produced in each of your blog posts. 200 words should be your floor for each article that you produce. In some cases, you already have enough words per post to create 10-50 articles instantly. If you dont, then stitch posts together of a similar theme until you have 200+ word articles to put into article marketing distribution.

2) A blogger has the same traffic building problems that any typical website has, and therefore article marketing can help your blog in the same ways it can help a non-blog website. Benefits include qualified traffic coming to your site year round, quality backlinks being built without any messy recip-linking campaigns, and youre expanding your reach to other experts that might not otherwise have found your blog.

3) Bloggers by nature are more Internet savvy than your typical author. With this said, most bloggers already understand how to create revenue with pay per click (PPC) advertising programs. As such, you already know how to produce keyword intelligent titles for their articles. This guarantees maximum traffic impact for each of your articles.

If you are already a blogger and are new to article marketing, heres how you get started:

1) Produce a cache of 10-25+ articles from your existing blog content.

2) Submit them to the major article directories and any that are niche-relevant to your field of expertise. You may also wish to submit them to ezine publishers directly from your niche.

3) Rinse and repeat until you have 250-1,000+ articles in distribution this year. Hire a college student or editor if you dont have time to get this strategy into practice as itll be well worth it.

4) Watch your traffic counter slowly rise, day by day as your articles work hard for you delivering qualified traffic to your website year round.

Article Marketing as a strategy will not break your traffic counter on your first month of investing in this strategybut, I guarantee if you engage in this strategy, your blog will grow in traffic and popularity beyond the traffic you were already creating by simply blogging. You knows, you might even increase your sales, land a new job, or improve your rank in the search engines as a side-benefit from your article marketing strategy.

Article Marketing Secrets Revealed

Use article marketing to start an internet business especially if you do not have a budget. Most of the methods like pay per click, ezine and banner advertising cost money to drive traffic. The free methods like traffic exchanges, FFA leads and classified advertising produce leads less willing to buy. With article marketing your leads already know you from your articles and this makes them more qualified to buy from you as they would not have clicked through to your website if they did not trust you.

Choose your target market and write about a topic that interests you and that you can give expert advice on. Brainstorm your ideas and find a topic related to your website. You need to also specifically write for your target audience.

Before writing your article you need to determine your title. You need a headline that grabs attention to get the reader's attention. You also need to use a keyword research tool like Wordtracker to determine the keywords you need in your headline. You need to look for keywords searched often and not too much competition. Once you have determined these keywords you need to incorporate this into your your title. Search engines will index the article on popular directories like EzineArticles.

Write the introduction and conclusion next as this will get your creative juices flowing. You need to bullet all the points you would like to write about next. Expand on these points and write them in full.

You need to proof you article once completed and check for grammar and spelling mistakes. You can sleep on it and check it the next day. You can also let a friend or relative give you feedback on your article. Use a free editor like Notetab lite to format your article into 60 characters. You can also use a feature in Notetab lite where you can split and join lines. This allows you to easily remove hard returns which some article directories do not allow.

You need to add a summary two to three sentences in length to describe your article. You need to also choose your keywords for your article, write a compelling resource box where you will represent your unique selling proposition and a call to action to visit your website or download a free report.

Submit your articles to the most popular article directories like EzineArticles.com and you can submit to the less popular directories to generate backlinks for your website. Article marketing needs to be done consistently to see traffic. Writing consistently your search engine rankings will improve as more websites publish your articles and you get more backlinks.

Mark Abrahams has created the ultimate blog with secrets to generate multiple streams of internet income.

Build A Home Internet Business

Extremely Dangerous List Building Secrets That Will Explode Your Business

Let me ask you a very important question. Do you know what the key is to a very successful internet business? I am sure that by now you know the answer is a huge responsive list.

I remember when I first started building my list. I had bought several ebooks and was extremely disappointed. It was not as easy as what people made it out to be. It is like weight training. You need to do it consistently to get better at it. The longer you keep at it the better that you will become.

The problem for most people with list building or internet marketing in general is that there are so many sides that it is very easy to become overwhelmed. You want to try too many different things and in the end nothing works out.

There are many different ways that you can build a list. The three main ones are article marketing, ppc and ezine advertising. I suggest you choose one method and focus on it.

My favourite method is article marketing. I write articles and submit them to article directories. I include a link back to my squeeze page in my resource box. If somebody likes what I have said in my article they will click through to my squeeze page and subscribe to my newsletter.

This is a time intensive strategy, but is really working for me. I have written over 600 articles and currently get between 10 and 15 leads a day. The more that I write the greater the number of leads that I generate.

How To Make Money Online By Knowing What You Are Worth

Salespeople are not paid for their ability to cold call. Anyone can pick up a phone, dial a random number and be told, "No." Salespeople are paid for their knowledge about how to turn that "no" into a "yes."

Expert witnesses get called in by lawyers because of what they know not because they can see the tire tracks in the mud. They understand what those tire tracks mean.

Everyone in a professional setting is paid for what they know and not what they do. You can do the same while you make money online. You are entitled to be compensated appropriately. The first thing you need to know when you want to do this is how to determine your worth. What are people getting paid and why are they getting paid that? Once you know the value of your knowledge then you can get "make money online."

Maybe you are worried that what you know is only worth $5.00 at the most. $5.00 does not seem like a lot of money nor does it even seem worth it. When looking at the bigger picture, however, it is much more appealing. 75% of Americans have access to the internet. If 1,000 people pay you $5.00 then you have made $5,000! If 10,000 people pay you $5.00 then you have made $50,000! And you can make that money online. All you have to do is know what you are worth.

Learning How to Make Money Online with Your Skills

We all have talents. Most people do not know the value of the wealth of information they hold in their minds. Do you have a knack for words? Are you really good with needlepoint? Are you a good craftsman or fly fisherman? Perhaps you are a hunter and you know the ins and outs of skinning game or tanning hides. All of those can be marketable skills. All of those can help you make money online.

There is nothing wrong or shameful about asking to be compensated for your knowledge. It took you time, effort and probably money to learn what you know and you have the right to ask to be compensated. Just because you want to make money online does not mean your services are less valuable than anyone else's services.

When we really think about it, don't we pay all professionals for what they know? Are administrative assistants paid for their ability to pick up a phone handset? No. They are paid for their ability to juggle twelve different tasks and make sure their boss knows the dry cleaning is picked up and Mr. Jones is the client who is allergic to peanuts. They are paid for what they know and how well they know it.

Making Money Online is not easy but if your taught correctly, a six to seven figure income is highly attainable.

List Building - Is List Building The Hidden Goldmine?

List building has often been said by many Internet marketing experts to be the true way to create foolproof income on the Internet. It's been around for decades offline in the 'real world', but many online marketers and entrepreneurs have used it online for massive results.

So is list building the 'hidden goldmine' online? Yes, it is! When you have your own list, it is yours. No one else's. It is a source of repeat traffic like no other thing. Pay per click marketing gives you one visitor per click, but what if you can turn that one visitor into repeat visits to your product and even to affiliate products?

Imagine if you get 50 to 100 visitors to your website. If you send them to your online store or your sales page without capturing their names and emails, and they leave your site, they are gone forever.

But now let's say you build a list. You get 40 subscribers for every 100 visitors. Now you can send follow-up emails to these 40 subscribers and get them to see you store or your sales page a few times. Many experts agree it often takes a few exposures for a prospect to buy your product. These 40 subscribers are going to give you a repeat traffic source for a long time to come.

Think about it. If someone is not willing to give you their first name and email address, what more their credit card details. Some people are just paranoid about giving away their details online or are just skeptical about everything.

So work with building a list. You can turn that 50-100 visitors into 500-1000 repeat visitors from your emails to your product and to other products if you choose to.

All it takes to build a list is a simple one-page website, and an autoresponder account. I use Aweber, and the service is a charm to use. Don't procrastinate in building a list. Go and build one. Today.

Free Website Traffic For Pink Cows And Purple Pigs

Web site owners looking to gain more free search engine traffic will need to be working on the area of link building. Offsite factors such as gaining external backlinks, have shown to give proven results. Unfortunately some webmasters actually confuse The major search engines by telling them that that sell "purple pigs" when actually they sell "pink cows".

Then, as if to make it worse, they miss the human or "real factor". This was provided in a recent interview on a top ranking site in a very competitive industry, golf gifts. A search term that has over 20 million results and an estimated 57,838 searches per month.

Lets look at a website that sells exclusive gifts, like pink cows and purple pigs. They plan a linking campaign and firstly aim at the first single keyword term "pink pigs" and so they structure the link text and description as follows:

"Pink Pigs" All pink pig gifts - all sizes and shapes.

Using the anchor text "pink pigs"- to link back to the home page. Now lots of effort goes into seeking the correct links, aiming at this term. It progresses well and the ranking is achieved to every ones delight- " Look a number ranking for pink pigs! we are really great!" (large pat on the back)

Then the term goes of in hunt for the second term purple cows and follows the same process. They achieve the same results- however they have dissolved the anchor text of the number of links and the first ranking achieved, slips. It then becomes a juggling game to get the ranking for both keywords.

Essentially the have Google "scratching its head" .what subject is the page/site really about?

So what is the better option so as avoid this- two options:

Deep linking- This is the linking to internal pages rather than the home page, so in the first case, you would generate links to this page as http://www.thesite.com/pink-pigs.html and then proceed to do the exact same process for the other search term.

The downside of this is that it still does require different linking campaigns takes time and splitting of resources. A better option is that of combining and adding the human factor, after all, Google provides results for humans after all, and the quality of the results is high on the agenda. In this case, you could create a better anchor text and description such as:

"Purple Cow Gifts - Shop online for all manner of purple cow and pink pig gift sets, with discount specials every week"

This is also human friendly, and although its main aim is top search engine ranking, it could be seen as a normal, human based link. Include both the terms in the description, and then on the actual site the title of the home page makes sense. Then in the first paragraph on the home page could mention both search terms as well as link directly to those specific pages (www.thesite.com/pink-pigs.html etc) this would make sense to both the search engine spiders, used for finding and displaying results, and to humans.

A site that has realised this, and has the results to show it is thegolfcollection.com which has the number 1 ranking for not only golf gifts but number 4 for golf accessories out of 20 million results.

Lets take a site that sells gifts, like pink cows and purple pigs.

For this reason, planned keyword research is needed prior to any linking campaign for SEO results, for both the anchor text and the description.

An excellent tool for information on keyword research is Aaron Walls keyword tool:

http://tools.seobook.com/general/keyword/

This tool should be used together with an Adwords Campaign to gain the most accurate measure of the volume of searches for your terms, before any SEO link building activities take place.

The human that is searching has to be kept in mind. You want people to click on the link. It should appear to Google and the other major engines that this the primary purpose of the link. This SEO link building strategy will bring your success for years to come and large amounts of free traffic your competition would love to get there hands on. To your success!

The Future of Article Marketing

We all know about the power of article marketing; just ask any of the most prolific expert authors at ezinearticles and they will confirm just how beneficial it has been for them. These authors seem able to write five or more articles each and every day, this is most impressive as well as being quite amazing. I must admit that I struggle to achieve my goal of writing an average of one article per day even though I am fully aware of the rewards that this brings.

This is the present day truth of article marketing but what about the future, will writing articles still be as popular in ten or twenty years time or will the major search engines attempt to put an end to the practice in the same way that they have with paid links and excessive link exchanges?

I have quite a busy life, I have two children, I have a full time career and an extensive social life. This is my excuse for only writing an average of one article per day as I would love to be able to write more. I do however ensure that I have the time to promote my websites in other ways such as by attempting to obtain powerful one way links. This strategy has worked very well for me over the last five years.

It is important to look ahead, what is working at the present time may not work next month or next year. The world of website marketing is forever changing and it is essential to stay one step ahead of the game.

As for the question in the opening paragraph of this article, I personally believe that article marketing is here to stay for a long time. The cumulative affect of the authors who put in the big strides today will, in my opinion, see huge rewards over the longer term as well as the short.

There is absolutely no reason for search engines such as Google to attempt to ban this form of web promotion, after all the links that are gained are all one-way and there is no money changing hands.

My advice to any webmaster who is looking to promote their website would be to start writing articles today.

Building Traffic On A Budget

Website Traffic is a common denominator found in all successful online businesses. Without it, your site hardly stands a chance of generating any income. While there are many different theories and techniques used, it is worth your time and effort to consider these low cost methods to generate traffic to your website.

Link Exchange

Simply, it is the exchange of Links by webmasters. You put someone else's site Link at your website and in return they put a Link back to your site from their website. Links have now been exchanged, hence Link Exchange. A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. The down side of this is that now your competitor's Links are distracting your potential visitors away to other sites before they have fully explored your site.

Nowadays, it has become a common practice to link through other forms of internet media such as Social Networks, Blogs, and Ezines. While this can produce highly targeted readership, the readers are usually your competitors so you may not get as many potential customers as you would a boost in your search engine rankings and credibility. However, the better your ranking in the search engines, the better your chances of generating targeted traffic to your website.

Traffic Exchange

Traffic Exchange Sites are where you can get views of your site in exchange for viewing other sites. There are generally 2 types of Traffic Exchanges, auto and manual surfing. Auto surfing requires minimal input as the system automatically reloads the page after a set amount of time. With manual surfing your site actually has a better chance of being seen by your target audience because all page views are at the discretion of the viewer.

Almost all Traffic Exchange programs are Free to join with the option of upgrading at a cost to receive additional benefits. It is a well known practice for Traffic Exchanges to offer credits at a cost. The minimum length of time for viewing a site in order to earn credits can range from 10 to 60 seconds.

Write and Submit Articles

There are many Ezines, publishers, forums, and other mediums on the internet that provide free space for articles to be submitted. Write informative and interesting articles based on your niche market. Give the readers something to take away from the article (knowledge, tips, guidelines) while at the same time, creating an interest to visit your site. There are many freelance/ghost writers that will write for a small fee, but save the money and write the article yourself.

It will boost your self confidence and who knows, you may learn something doing the research. Writing and submitting articles has become an extremely effective way to promote your website and business. The exposure an article receives will increase traffic to your website, establish your credibility as an expert in your field, and help with search engine optimization. Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Promote yourself and your business. Keep in mind, most Article Directories will not allow affiliate links. You will need to use a URL that redirects to the affiliate site.

Create a Newsletter

This may sound a little intimidating at first because of all the content you need to include in a newsletter but in reality, it's not that difficult. Not all the articles you put in your newsletter have to be original content. There are many authors who allow their articles to be used by others as long as you give them credit and leave their resource box intact and untouched. This provides free advertising for them as well. Build a Newsletter and give it away, increase your public exposure, and use it as a tool to create an opt-in list. A good Newsletter will increase your business returns in more ways than one and the cost is basically your time and efforts.

Join Online Communities and Forums

Social Networking and Forums are very popular and Free to join. Share your knowledge, form relationships, build a reputation, gain their trust. Learn from what others have to say and share. Be yourself and NOT a salesperson and you'll be sure to make connections that will help your business grow in one way or another. Most Forums and Communities Do Not allow you to blatantly advertise as they consider it Spam. Links to your website can usually be included in your signature file. Profiles can also contain business as well as personal information.

By utilizing these methods you'll be able to generate traffic to your website without incurring a big out of pocket expense.
