Profitable Article Marketing - Discover 4 Persuasive Secrets to Amplify Your Article Marketing

A lot of webmasters can attest to the effectiveness and efficiency of article marketing not only in terms of augmenting the number of your page views but also in increasing your sales revenue. If you want to enjoy these and other amazing benefits, you must learn how to improve your techniques in writing and distributing your articles.

1. Pick the best article submission sites. There are hundreds of publishing sites in the internet today. While others can help you realize your article marketing goals, some can be just waste of time. Identify the sites that are well-visited and have impressive page ranking; these are the sites that you would want to focus your energy on.

2. Advertise only on your resource box. Free your article from any sales pitches or blatant advertisements. Focus on giving your readers information that they will find useful and relevant to their needs and demands. After you have shared valuable and highly relevant information, you can pitch in your products or website on your resource box. Make it compelling and enticing so you can effectively increase your conversion rate.

3. Stick with attention-grabbing titles. Your titles can either make or break your article marketing campaign. Treat them as your trailers and your whole article as a movie. If your trailers are enticing and intriguing enough, you can be sure that your movies will fare well at the box office.

4. Learn from the experts. Make it a habit to read articles that were written by popular marketers. This can help you understand how they create powerful and effective articles. Take note of their strategies and techniques and apply them on your writing.

Marketing - What Works Best?

Some experts claim using the number 7 will dramatically increase your sales and conversion ratio.

However, in his article, "The Truth About The Fallacy Of 7" Dean Phillips strongly disagrees with that assessment. Dean writes:

"Almost without exception, every infomercial I've watched over the years, regardless of the product, have prices that end with a five or a nine. For example, $29.95, $39.99, $249.95. The number "7" may be lucky in dice, but in marketing, it's just another number!"

Is Dean right?

With all due respect to Mr. Phillips, I think he's missing the point. It really doesn't matter what has worked in the past or is currently working for someone else. In marketing, it's all about what works best for you.

It has long been determined blue is the best color to use for your website. The color blue is supposed to have a calming influence over visitors to your website, making them more receptive to your offer. Certain shades of blue indicate dependability, making it a good color for business ads. Blue is also associated with authority and dependability, and is a popular color for uniforms, worn by police officers, mail carriers, security guards and other officials.

With that in mind, I used the color blue when I built my website. However, while doing research for this article, I also discovered some of the most successful Internet Marketing websites don't use blue at all. Websites like Addme.com, Knowthis.com and Marketingterms.com.

Proving once again, it's all about what works best for you.

Some experts claim having an attractive website will help you sell more products. But Mark Daoust of Site-reference.com discovered something interesting. In his article, "The Surprising Truth About Ugly Websites" Mark writes:

"I was struck by an example of just how effective ugly websites can be this past week as I was browsing through some web related news. I stumbled across the story of Plenty of Fish. This is a very plain looking website that offers a free online dating service much like Match.com (but without the subscription fee). There was nothing specifically impressive about the website that stood out to me, in fact the site was actually rather ugly.

What caused me (and I am sure several other people) to take a second look at the website was its reported earnings. It is reported that this website brings in over $10,000 from Adsense - in one day. Yes, you did read that correctly. For those of you counting, that is $300,000 per month and nearly one million dollars in just three months.

The example of Plenty of Fish lead me to consider how an ugly website could be so successful. As I looked around, I suddenly realized that this was not the only successful ugly website. Ebay is unbelievably ugly, Craigslist has never won an award for innovative design, and IMDB has never even bothered to format their text out of the default Times New Roman."

I'd like to add something relative to Mark's statement. Selfpromotion.com has one of the ugliest websites I've ever seen. The website is nothing but pages and pages of black text on a white background. Ugly and boring. Yet, the website has been extremely successful for years.

In closing, you should always respect proven, time-tested marketing methods and strategies. But that doesn't mean you have to necessarily go along with the staus quo either. Because in marketing, it ultimately comes down to, what works best for you!

Internet Marketing - How To Set Mega Goals And 'Stretch' Your Potential

If you want to start achieving the success you want, then start setting mega goals. What exactly are mega goals? Well, they are goals that force you to stretch your potential to the limit and make full use of all your resources to achieve your results. They might not be 'realistic' goals, and 'realistic' goals are often goals that don't excite anyone, leading to inaction or complacency.

If you want to get excited and passionate about your dreams, set a mega goal. This will cause you to operate on a different level from most people. You will instantly become laser focused and start doing almost whatever it takes (as long as it is within legal and moral boundaries) to get there!

It's important that you set a goal that you are excited about. Maybe you have been constantly been dreaming about driving and owning that dream car of yours. Or maybe it's some other goal that you want to have. Well, make that your ultimate goal now.

Once you do this, you will immediately start doing things differently. You may take more risks, but you'll also take more calculated risks. You will definitely stop procrastinating and start taking huge action towards your goals. You will wake up everyday feeling energized, knowing that you have a key focus in life and that everyday; you are getting closer to your goal.

So do this now. Set a goal that is 'unrealistic', get yourself excited about it, and start taking focused action to achieve it on a daily basis. Don't delay! There is no time to waste.

Article Marketing - Latest 5 No-Brainer Methods to Make Money Through Article Marketing

Article marketing's popularity cannot be ignored these days. People from all parts of the globe are amazed with its effectiveness and simplicity of use. That is why, it is no wonder why most webmasters are using this method as their primary marketing arm.

1. Be desperate for attention. By this, I mean knowing all the elements that can potentially entice online users to read your articles. One of the best ways to do so is by using attention-grabbing titles that appeal to your target market. Learn how to trigger their emotions, pique their curiosity, or even apply exaggeration to get them to click on your articles.

2. Deliver quality, complete information. Nothing can make an article more impressive than filling it with relevant, detailed content because after all, online users are reading articles just to be informed. Carefully select all the information that play crucial roles in your topic and present them in a logical manner to promote better understanding.

3. Write more. In article marketing, the more articles you write and submit, the more quality inbound links you can obtain for your website. Strive to multiply the number of your articles by either writing content that you are very familiar with or writing short articles.

4. Use simple words. Remember, you are not writing for encyclopedias or running towards getting a Pulitzer award. In writing your articles, it is better that you focus your energy on making your readers understand your ideas than trying to impress them with the use of big words.

5. Your ideas should be related to your main topic. Avoid discussing ideas that are not related on your topic to avoid annoying your readers.

Viral Marketing 101 - Your Guide to Generating More Traffic To Your Internet Marketing Business

One of the most important aspects of your website is the creativity you inject into it that attracts visitors and return readers. To place yourself ahead of the competition in Internet based businesses you need to stand out, be a bit different than all the other blogs and sites out there. Your marketing techniques should be creative as well as your content. Combined, you have two strong leads that will carry you ahead of others in internet marketing.

There are many methods and techniques used by marketing sites today, yet some stand out in a away others don't and can provide an extra boost in traffic and popularity for your site. One very powerful technique is called viral marketing.

While the term viral tends to make one think of a virus, something all computer owners avoid like the plague, it is actually a good virus. You do not use a computer virus to spread your business; you use the viral power to spread the word from one person to another, just as an actual virus spreads itself.

Viral Marketing Overview

Viral marketing or, as it is otherwise known, viral advertising is a marketing tool used to build the public awareness of one's product or company. For internet marketing it uses many forms of online media to reach out to the public without actually promoting the product. How does it accomplish this? It does so by facilitating and encouraging people to pass along a marketing message. It may be done through video clips, ebooks, reports, email how-to courses, brandable software, and even images in which you include information about your product or service and a link to your website or squeeze page. Basically the idea works on the premise that if people like the content of a media they will pass it on to their friends and family. When this media carries your company or product info it gets passed along in the process, delivering your message and branding your company and product in the process to many other people.

Viral marketing has become so popular because it is relatively inexpensive to create and deliver. To avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on the eagerness of one person to pass the media on to another who accepts and reads the email due to the personal relationship with the individual who sent it.

Using Viral Marketing to Your Advantage

The most obvious advantage of viral marketing is that you get a lot of publicity and public awareness for your product, your name and your company for very little expense and effort. As a result you generate a flow of traffic of potential customers. With creativity and imagination, plus an incentive that appeals to the market you are trying to reach, you can capture quite a bit of attention.

Viral marketing is not new but is used in new ways online everyday. Brainstorm your marketing techniques so that you can put a viral delivery method out there with an ebook, a report, or whatever product or message you can deliver. Then sit back and watch the wonders viral marketing can do for you.

Benefits of Managed Internet Marketing

Getting started with online marketing is simplicity itself, but if you are looking to really make a splash, you need to consider what managed internet marketing can do for you. Essentially, the web is now such an important resource to many companies that they are not taking any risks when it comes to handling their online appearance; many more businesses, large and small, are discovering that they need to make sure that their web campaigns should be taken over by professionals.

When it comes to making a good impression online, you have a very limited amount of time to do it. As fast as people can click to your site, they can click away with equal speed if they think that your site doesn't haven enough content or displeases them in other ways. Moreover, you need to make sure that people can get to your site in the first place. When you are looking for different ways to market your website, you'll soon find that to really make an impression, managed internet marketing is the way to go.

There are many ways to get noticed online, but all of these methods rely on a certain amount of expertise when it comes down to it. This is one way to make sure that you get the traffic that your site requires. This is very important in a time when the only contact that a prospective customer might be online, so it is important to make sure that your site is accessible in as many ways as possible. Often, the only way to take advantage of everything that web advertising has to offer is to speak with a professional.

There are many ways that a managed internet marketing campaign can benefit your business. Whether you are interested in having your website shown at the top of the Google natural results or you are hoping that link building will bring more relevant traffic to your site, a professional can make sure that this happens. These days, with search engines being so sophisticated, it is difficult to know the precise way to make sure your site shows up, but this is exactly what a specialist can help you with.

When you start looking into managed internet marketing, you might be surprised at the wide variety of people and choices available to you. Remember that making a decision regarding this is like acquiring any other sort of skill or service; ask for recommendations, proposals and plans of attack. Ask to see samples of their work and speak with the people who have worked with them in the past. Making sure that your hired web marketer is someone that you are comfortable working and make sure that their plans for getting your work and your services out into the public eye are ethical.

You have many choices in front of you when you are working on your web presence, but remember that even a remarkable site is useless unless people are able to find it. Look into managed internet marketing to make sure that your site gets the traffic it needs to benefit your business.

How To Increase The Number Of Clicks That Your Articles Generate

Most of us write articles to generate clicks from the links that we place in the resource box. The main purpose of this is to either increase traffic to our websites or to interest readers in a product that we are promoting. But how do we realize these goals?

In order to succeed, there are 3 main tasks you must accomplish:

1) Youve got to attract readers. The only real method to attract viewers is with a compelling title. When people are looking for information on a particular subject, they scan through a list of titles. This list may contain several hundred articles. Your title has to grab them and compel them to read your piece. Your title has to jump out at them and draw them in. If youve written a great article full of fascinating information, no one will read it if it has an uninteresting title. All of your work will have been fruitless. Youve got to grab their attention with an intriguing title.

2) Youve got to have a good article. If your article is not well written, or if it contains little information of value, your readers will quickly click away, and again, your work will have been fruitless. For that reason, it is important to write a great article with good information, and a compelling title.

3) The third ingredient for a successful article is a good resource box. Ideally, the information in your article should be related to the links in your resource box. This is extremely important. If your article is about ice fishing in Alaska and your links refer to vacationing in the tropics, you probably wont generate many clicks. Thats because the people who read the article are interested in ice fishing, not sun bathing. However, if your resource box contained links for a travel agency specializing in Alaskan tours, you would probably generate a lot of clicks. Coordinate the information in your resource box with the content of your article. I use a number of different resource boxes, depending on what I am writing about.

If youve done a good job in each of these three areas, your article will achieve very good readership and your links will generate plenty of traffic. If your article is generating good readership, but you are not getting many clicks, it may mean that you need to work on steps 2 or 3 above.

With some of my best articles, over 17% of the readers have clicked on my links. That is a great percentage! On average though, only about 7%-8% of readers will click on a link.

Article Marketing - My Philosophy That Drives Me To Massive Article Marketing Success

Here's my philosophy on article marketing: The purpose of an article is to generate traffic. And it's very probable that more than half the visitors to an article don't even read it (though I hope you're not one of them!). Quality of your articles is important, and so is the quantity with which you write them and submit them!

When people click through on your articles, most will just click through to your site link in your resource box, decide to buy or optin or whatever it is, or just click away from your article. A very small percentage will even read your article. Maybe 1 in 10. That's 10 readers for every 100 visitors. And the title of an article is just as important than the content. You should be spending plenty of time crafting out a quality title.

I'd rather produce a good informative article that gets the point across than try to produce an article that will take hours to write. Some people have minds that race, and others can get in 30-50 words a minute. Some people have both. That's a lethal concoction for article marketing. If you can type very quickly and are already well versed in the topic, then you can crank out a 250-300 words article in 10 to 15 minutes without doing any research.

Most people write articles and when you read them, it reads like a textbook. You'd want to be conversational in your articles. Think about the most entertaining books you have read; more likely than not, the tone of the book was conversational. It was as if the author was sitting in a caf with you and having a lively discussion. That's how you want to write your articles!

Article Marketing - How Many Must I Write?

There is a lot of talk about article marketing as an effective strategy to bring traffic to your blog or website for free. However, there is often debate about just how many articles it takes to work.

Here are some suggestions to clear up the confusion.

The more the merrier. This is the simple answer to the quantity question. Article marketing is a numbers game. The more individual articles that you have out there, the more chances you have that someone interested in your niche will find it, read it and click on your link. So if you are able to produce ten thousand articles, you will be doing better than the guy who only submits three in a year.

Christopher Knight, operator of EzineArticles.com, the largest free article directory on the web, says that just a few articles can bring traffic, but that the real flow starts to be felt when you get to around 250.

However, like all debates there are some provisos to that. It's not just about quantity. Naturally, no two articles are equal. The very fact that an article has been written and submitted does not mean that it will automatically bring a set number of clicks.

The four key factors that determine the effectiveness of any article are :

  • The niche - some niches generate more interest than others. Making money will always do better than slug farming.
  • The length - long, densely worded articles are less likely to be widely distributed than, short, snappy, bulleted pieces.
  • The quality - a well written and relevant article will gain wider distribution and will probably be read more, which in turn will lead to more click throughs.
  • The resource box - a badly written resource box can ruin a good article's chances of bringing traffic.

Finally, when considering how many articles you should write, you have to take into account your ability and the available time. If you can only fit in your writing late at night or at the weekends, then you are better to produce two or three, well targeted, quality articles per week and build your portfolio steadily, than try to create ten, sub standard pieces that will not get picked up. So in conclusion, yes, article marketing is a numbers game, but don't worry if you haven't got an article factory in your basement. A good writer who conforms to the rules can still beat a prolific hack any day.

Article Submission - Increase Traffic, Backlinks and Affiliate Sales

Article submission to ezines or article directories can boost traffic to your site; increase backlinks and boost affiliate sales with minimal effort at virtually no cost to you. A single published article can generate hundreds of backlinks to your site - all depending of course on the success of the article itself. The more quality articles you write and publish, the more traffic and backlinks you'll accumulate.

To get started with submitting articles to ezines and article directories, all you need to do is sign up for an account with an ezine or article directory and begin writing articles. Remember - every article you write and publish is yet another advertisement for your own website or Internet business. The key to your success is sheer volume.

If you're not good at writing articles, there are hundreds of services out there where you can hire someone to write your articles for you, or freelance writers and forums where you can advertise.

Once you've completed your article you can manually submit your article to each article directory or article submission ezine or you can use an article submission service. Article submission software, in this case will save you lots of time and effort. There are a lot of good ideas to keep in mind to make your article marketing more successful in generating traffic backlinks to your site.

Write focused articles on one subject. Keep your articles within the preferred 300-1000 word range. Make sure you read and follow the articles submission guidelines. Make sure to go over your articles with a fine-toothed comb to make sure they're perfect - and most importantly, resist using a passive voice.

Your articles should have a take charge and commanding tone. Avoid use of the words "I" and "We" and focus instead on a conversational directive way of speaking. People find comfort in being told what to do from a confident, non-biased voice.

Article Marketing - Using Your Own Newsletters to Market Your Articles

Article marketing is a fantastic way to get the word out about what you do, and bring more traffic, prospects, publicity, and profits to your website.

One of the most powerful ways to market your articles is in your own newsletter. You are sending out your own newsletter aren't you?

If not I sure hope you use the tips in this article to start your own newsletter.

Each week in my and marketing success tips newsletter I used to the my own articles. One article is own article writing and the other article is on article marketing. This newsletter goes out every week, reaches thousands of people, keeps me in touch with my niche, and creates a stream of income for me.

One of the nice things about publishing a newsletter is that once you have the basic structure down you do not have to reinvent the wheel each week. You just fill in the blanks with new information.

Another great advantage to having a weekly newsletter is creating a newsletter archive. You can do to powerful things with a newsletter archive. One, you can use it as a sign up bonus when people subscribe to your newsletter. Once they have subscribed you give them access to all the previous newsletters on your website. The second great advantage is that when you create a new page in your website for each newsletter, that's one more page in your website with good content and your keywords for both the search engines and your ideal client to find.

Successful Email Strategies - Give Your Newsletter Personality

What makes you different from any of the other newsletters out there in your market? 1 thing and 1 thing only.

YOUR PERSONALITY.

Don't be a lifeless drone, add some spark to your writing, be funny, be witty, be controversial, just don't be boring!

Tell a story. Stories are a great way to get people hooked before they realize you are actually selling them anything at all.

Find below a story I used to promote a work at home affiliate program. Are You Different?

I don't know about you, but I've always thought I was different to my peers. This is an amusing story that will probably strike a cord with most people who read this book.

When the kids at my school were playing at lunch time, like kids do, I was setting up shop just outside the main oval. The canteen at school never really sold much in the sweet variety, so I use to bring mine to school from the local store as they were much cheaper and had more variety.

I use to come to school with a bag full of lollies and let me tell you, I was one popular kid. Kids were always asking me for lollies all day and it was getting very annoying, so I had to do something quick.

I got sick of giving my hard earned pocket money lollies out for free, so I decided to set up my own little black market lollies trade. I use to buy all sorts of different lollies you could not get from school and I then raised the price 500%. I purchased lollies for 10 cents and sold them for over 50 cents. The market was so big, I had to actually double my supply. In one day I could make $20 just by selling lollies I brought for $5.

Of course, I had certain "high roller" clients that I would give cheaper prices to, which was only fair, as they brought in most of my business. I also had a few people that you gave free lollies too, just to keep the peace.

Eventually more people started doing what I was doing and I had a little competition on my hands.

I stopped selling lollies after a few months as the demand was getting to hectic and the local store had called my mother.

I knew I had a passion in life, but I didn't realise what it was until I was in grade 10 and I quit school to pursue a career in direct mail. Marketing was and is my life, I love it. I read everything I can get my hands on and I have a collection of books that resemble a bookstore. Of course back then I wasn't sure if I wanted to do anything seriously with marketing, but I knew I didn't want to work for anyone but myself.

Everyday I stop and think about what I would be doing if I didn't find out about the joys of working from home, and I never would have if it was not for my father who taught me there is more to life then working 9 till 5 everyday.

Optimized Content For Consumption

Content still reigns as the king in the world of Search Engine Optimization. Some websites get on top of SERP's because of high-powered link building campaigns, but when you talk about visitor loyalty and traffic retention and yes, public consumption, it will always require that good ol' optimized content. How does one manufacture a SEO-friendly optimized Content?t.

How does one manufacture a SEO-friendly (optimized) Content?

1. Readers first, then keywords.

In the previous years, SEOs follow this trend: keywords first, then content. Now that Google has integrated Latent Semantic Indexing in its algorithm, webmasters found out that it aint just the keywords that matter, but the related terms that revolve around your content. That means you cant just repeat the word, cheap cars for sale twenty times in your paragraphs. It needs more substance (and related words) than that. Its almost like writing for your readers alone, and not the search engines. But of course, itll be Google and the others who will determine your rankings.

2. Diversify Anchor Text Links

As Aaron Wall pointed out, there has to be some variations in the text when one creates those blue-highlighted anchor text links. The links on a page are what the search engine spiders follow in determining your website structure. Most likely, the text used in the links are being considered in figuring out what a page is all about. You may also set some keyphrases in bold letters. That tells the spiders which terms youre trying to emphasize, just dont overdo it.

3. Take note of word count

Although its been a classic rule that readers online do not read, it simply doesnt mean that one has to deprive the online users of good, meaty content. Stick to at least 250 words a page. SEOs know that writing down for an appropriate length of text means being more able to include more related terms for the target keywords.

And now, how do you offer your optimized content for consumption?

1. Social Bookmarking

If the content is real good (i.e. controversial, substantial, significant to a great part of the crowd), then its best to digg it, make people reddit, and tag people at delicious. News items are great at Netscape.com. How tos and tips are perfect in Wikihow

2. Social Networking

Share your blog announcements, latest promos, or any significant tidbit of a fact at your bulletin and Group posts at MySpace, and any other social networks you find helpful in bringing traffic to your site. Just a tip: Make it short and sweet in your bulletin posts since a bulletin is supposed to be quick.

3. Content Submissions

Good quality traffic from reputable websites like ezinearticles, goarticles, and isnare will help out in traffic and visibility. It might hurt your rankings though, because these sites are deemed authorities or of great value by Google.

Blogging does a good job at sharing and syndicating content. If you have a website, and a separate blog (checkout: Link Building with your Blog), itll ease out the load in gaining visitors.

A SEO-friendly content is no longer the restrictive, robotical-sounding content it used to be. Search engines, in their aim to continuously refine search are catering more to the online readers, the social aspect of the World Wide Web. Content comes out to be more human-centered, and ready for consumption.

Internet Marketing Training Program - How to Choose the Right Program

Are you one of those who aspire to earn money online on a consistent basis? Internet marketing provides huge opportunities to earn income online and many people have been eager to jump on this money-making bandwagon. However, not many people realize that to be successful in making money online requires proper learning and business planning. Many aspiring internet marketers have been taken in by the countless online promotions and advertisements that promise quick money in the quickest time possible. However, they also fail to realize that they are quickly losing their money in purchasing and investing in many over-hype products that sorely under-deliver. With so many over-hyped and under-performing products online, how then do you choose the right internet marketing training program and start making that first elusive dollar online?

Here are some quick tips which you can use to help you choose an internet marketing training program that delivers. The key thing here is to do a proper research.

1) Read up reviews online and see what people are saying. Look for balanced reviews and comments. Bear in mind that some reviews are written in such a way that blatantly promotes certain products. It is always good to read multiple reviews to have an informed and balanced perspective.

2) Check out internet marketing forums. These are one of the best places to read candid comments about the online purchases people have made. Forum members usually have bought and used certain products, and thus are in a good position to tell you how good or lousy these are.

3) If a website promises overnight riches, chances are, it will under-deliver and you will be sorely disappointed if you choose to purchase the product.

4) Look for a membership program that provides you with well-grounded instructions and continuing support for your online marketing efforts. It is important to know that having the proper knowledge, in addition to the desire to succeed, is crucial to making money online successfully. If a program offers one-on-one coaching and support, that will be a true gem. Many programs on the market promise that you will make money online, but never provide the help and support when you need it most.

5) Tools and resources are critical to an internet marketer's arsenal. Examine what the product has to offer. For example, a website builder, website hosting, keyword research and analytic tools, all provided in an integrated portal, will be extremely useful in building up an online marketing campaign. A well-supported members-only forum, if it is part of the package, will be a truly valuable resource to share ideas and obtain advice from members.

Forget about websites that promise you fast money with minimal effort. Invest your time and effort in an internet marketing training program that delivers, by following the above tips. If you get your online marketing basics right, you will be well on your way to lifetime financial success. Imagine what this could do to your financial security and independence.

Article Marketing - Hook The Reader

Article marketing is an advertising technique. An engaging article is used to hook the reader, and provide basic information and education. The articles are succinct and quickly pull the reader in. By providing the reader with a start, they can help the reader to locate additional information and services of interest to them. Article marketing is a new but powerful approach to business.

By utilizing the tactical placement of words, the article that was written is flagging what is known as the internet spiders, all while the reader is being engaged. If these keywords are placed just right, the site will gain a high rank with the search engines but not seem overly wordy or riddled with keywords.

If you are able to write one of these articles a day, you will be a great asset to your company. Adding these articles each day will make your rating on various search engines go up. You do not have to do very much work to make your business look good and gain new visitors with article marketing.

The most important thing to remember when you are going to use article marketing for your website is that you must use unique articles each time you post something new. Copies of articles and anything that is not unique content will not help you gain a higher rating or customer base. Customers do not want to see the same old thing everywhere that they look.

To this end, it is important to create a new and fresh article each day. This will keep your old readers interested and will make your business look experienced to your new readers. The more people that are interested in your articles, the more likely you are to sell more products. In the end, you gain profit.

As a growing area of marketing nowadays, the use of articles is a highly successful approach to selling products or services. Be sure to publish fresh ideas which haven't been published elsewhere online. Doing this will enable you both to realize a profit and increase your rating in the popular search engines with a minimum of effort.

Article marketing is a new way of advertising. These articles are very interesting and designed to hook the reader. This is a new and very strong approach to the world of business. All articles written are very unique articles, you must make sure that the article are unique to keep readers interested. Another key factor is unique content, which is just as important to keep the readers hooked. You want to make sure that the articles are interesting and grab attention. They must also keep the readers attention so that customers keep coming back.

Matt Cutts On Article Marketing

Article marketing has just become an even more powerful form of web promotion. This well known, tried and tested web marketing tool, had, in some people's eyes, lost part of its value in recent years. Article marketing in now back in fashion however, as Google have started to clamp down on paid links and excessive reciprocal links. No longer are people able to just buy their way to the top, it is now the grafters, people like you and me, who are willing and happy to produce quality content for the web, that will once again rise to the top of those all important rankings - let the good times roll.

My name is Steve Hill; I have seen very positive results from this form of web marketing and often advise people that this is how, in my opinion, they should go about promoting their website/s. So often in the past these people have stated that they do not have the time to write and submit articles, or that why should they start to write when they can just purchase a pr7 backward link on ebay for three months to gain the same results? I always found it hard to answer that question, but Matt Cutts and his crew have now made it a whole lot easier.

Certain people will still take chances on purchasing backward links, perhaps they are lazy, perhaps they are stupid! Why take the risk? If you set yourself a goal to write say twenty articles per month, you will soon see your site moving up the rankings. Yes it is hard work, it is quite boring work at times, and yes it will take time to have an effect, but have an effect it will.

Some people argue that article marketing does not work due to duplicate content. This would be true if you were also including the same article that you have submitted to sites like ezinearticles, on your own website, but let's face it, that would be rather daft!

Real Estate Marketing Strategies: The Biggest Mistake Real Estate Agents Make And How You Can Avoid

THE BIG MISTAKE:

The market is so slow and I don't even know where my next sale is coming from.

How often have you heard someone say that when business is down and the economy is questionable? It seems logical, doesn't it, to tighten your purse strings?

What! Are you suggesting that I should invest in my business now?

Even though it seems logical to tighten up and constrict spending, it is actually based on a scarcity mindset. In a scarcity mindset you focus on lack in your business, and on lack in outer conditions and the market.

The result is a constriction in the flow of energy to your business. In fact, when you focus your thoughts on lack in your business, you have a problem even before you begin. Hence, THE BIG MISTAKE.

Are you constricting the flow of energy to your business? Here are some signs to watch out for:

1. What are your thoughts?

  • I don't have enough clients
  • My competitors are stealing business
  • I can't succeed in today's market
  • Here's an example that contains a scarcity mindset:

There are so many new agents entering the business there isn't enough business to go around. Maybe I should just get a real job.

Have you ever had that thought?

    2. What emotions do you experience?

  • Fear
  • Stress
  • Struggle
  • Anxiety
  • Worry
  • Any of the thoughts above are likely to create the emotions of worry, fear and doubt. You find yourself dwelling in these negative feelings that will prevent you from attracting to your business and the very things you desire, such as more clients and more income. Your thoughts create your reality. Therefore, if you focus on what you don't want, like the lack of money, you'll get more of that.

    3. ACTIONS

When you're stuck in a scarcity mindset, not only does it affect your thoughts and feelings, but also your actions. For example, I was going to take the weekend off, but now I better not. Business is slow and I don't want to miss a call from a prospective client.

Do you see how this is a scarcity mindset? What is the person missing out on? If you said self-care and self maintenance, then you are right. This is one of the actions that goes by the wayside when you're focusing on scarcity. You're simply afraid that you won't have enough so you ignore the importance of taking care of yourself.

So what is the big mistake?

The big mistake is that you are focusing your thoughts on outward circumstances, like the economy, to determine your mindset. If the economy is down you are down. Stephen Covey calls this the reactive mindset. You believe that you are acted upon, rather than being proactive and there is a constriction of energy to your business.

When you are proactive, you don't focus on what the economy or the market is doing, you are coming from an internal state of prosperity consciousness. You don't look to outer conditions to determine your state of mind, you determine your own state of mind by your thoughts, emotions and actions. In essence you create the mindset of being the deliberate creator of your life.

    The solution:

If the mindset is the problem, then how do you switch to a more positive mindset?

    1. Commit to building a prosperity mindset

A prosperity mindset is not something you are born with, it's not in your genes; its something that you develop through practice. Think of it as a muscle that you exercise. The more you exercise it, the stronger that muscle becomes.

It's the same with prosperity mindset. Successful people have one thing in common they believe in their own success and their ability to attract money into their life. They look for opportunities and find them... everywhere. Why? Because they had an internal prosperity consciousness and they focused on that state of looking at external conditions.

    2. Adopt the beliefs of success

It's easy to adopt a successful mindset - it's just a shift in focus from scarcity to prosperity. The way you make that shift is to have a set of beliefs that are congruent and prosperous thinking. For example, Walt Disney once said, All of our dreams come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

Here are the beliefs of successful people:

  • Change is to be embraced because it represents more opportunity for growth and expansion.
  • Determine what you want, and assume you'll get it. Don't worry about the how.
  • There is an answer and solution to every challenge.
  • Discomfort is part of charting the unknown.
  • Obstacles will not stop them from attaining what they want.
  • Money needs to flow in order to grow.
  • You'll notice that if you practice the beliefs above, you will experience positive emotions that expand the flow of energy to your business.

    3. Be clear on what you want

How can the universe give you what you want unless you are clear about what you want? A challenge for you here is to break the want barrier. Accept the fact that it is not only appropriate and proper, but critical, for you to want anything, of any kind, to any degree.

The main thing is to be clear about what you want for your business. I hear too many people saying, I want to be successful without even knowing what success means to them. I suggest visualizing your ideal professional life in 12 months from today. See yourself doing work you love and noticing approximately how many hours a week you're working. Ask yourself what kind of people you want to be interacting with. Who are your ideal clients? Are they motivated, decisive and respectful of you and your service to them? What is your income in 12 months from today? How much are you making per year or per month?

    4. Clear away any opposing beliefs

When you think about your ideal professional life, what beliefs do have that are opposing your vision? Here are some beliefs that I hear on a continual basis when people are honest with me about discussing their blocks to success:

I like doing my work, I'm just not good at marketing. (Remember, it's only a belief)

I'm really not smart enough or energetic enough to achieve what I want. (Remember, it's only a belief)

The real estate market is so tough right now that I can't possibly make the income I was hoping for. (Remember, it's only a belief)

    5. Take inspired action not frantic action

What kind of action are you taking? Are you taking action because you're afraid? If you are, your action may be frantic action rather than inspired action.

What is inspired action? Inspired action comes from your intuition and listening to your gut instincts. You follow your heart, you follow your hunches; you don't wait for someone to hand you a formula because there is none.

You will know if youre taking inspired action by the way you feel by the results you are getting. Youll be feeling relaxed and confident and the results that you will be getting will be one or more of the following:

  • Increased clientele
  • Increased income
  • Increased passion for your work
  • As a review, remember to avoid THE BIG MISTAKE by being conscious of what you focus on.

Dont let the outer conditions determine your mindset. Keep a mindset of prosperity and practice the beliefs of successful people. Keep remembering to expand the flow of energy to your business, whatever the market is doing.

When times seem tough, it is especially important to stay away from a scarcity mindset. Instead, go within and look for the opportunities for new ways to market yourself from a prosperity mindset.

Marketing Article - Why Write Marketing Articles?

At this point, I am going to assume that you write articles. So why write marketing articles?

I think that one of the reasons is that people are looking for marketing articles they want to learn how to do marketing, especially online marketing, web marketing, article marketing, etc.

When you write marketing articles and post them online to the various article directories, including the one this one was originally posted to, you gain web traffic via the search engines.

You see, people online search the web, and they generally will read the articles that come up in the top ten results of their search results in the search engine they used. And the big article directories, especially the one that this was originally published on, have the page rank to get your article to the top ten results, especially for 2nd and 3 rd tier and long tailed keywords.

So when you write marketing articles, you get world wide readership and that can mean world wide visitors to your web site. An astonishing number of the people that visit my web site, although I am in the US, are in countries all around the world. Literally all around the world. I think I have subscribers in every continent around the world maybe excluding Antarctica so if you are in Antarctica you know what to do!

Anyhow, write marketing articles, submit them to the top 5 article directories (or at least just the one this one was published first to) and watch the traffic roll in. By the way, you have to write more than 2 or 3!

How I Went From 0 Clients to Making $250-Day in Less than 3 Weeks Writing SEO Articles

In 2007, I started to do SEO article writing.

Even though I've been freelancing since 1993, this is a very new form of writing for me. To date, most of my clients had been small business owners who commission newsletters, brochure copy, articles for their websites, etc. I have some corporate clients who outsource their editing/rewriting work to me, eg, editing annual reports.

I decided to give SEO writing a try for four reasons:
    i) I was bored with my existing workload;
    ii) I'd read a lot about SEO writing and knew that it was going to be lucrative long-term;
iii) there's not a lot of competition in the field (not for good, quality writers anyway); and
iv) it's quick turnaround (in pay and assignments).

As an aside, it fits my rather schizophrenic writing personality too in that I may write five articles in one day on extremely different topics - from wedding accessories to mortgages. As my brain likes to flit from project to project, this works great for me.

How to Break into a New Freelance Writing Niche Quickly & Profitably!

As this was a completely different field for me, I had to start marketing from scratch. Following is how I went from 0 to making $250/day in about three week's time.

Marketing for New Clients? Here's a 3-Step Plan that Works Every Time

    1) Website: I took about a week to build a website specifically for this type of writing.

    2) Research: I compiled a list of SEO companies I wanted to contact for work.

    3) Contact: I contacted them - one at a time, using the names of appropriate contacts where possible and at minimum mentioning the company in the email when no specific name could be found.

Marketing Success by the Numbers: What makes this plan work every time is that you make contact every day with a certain number of firms. In my case, I decided to contact - at minimum - 20 companies a day.

On the very first day of marketing, I received two inquiries from companies wanting to use me for pending projects starting the next month.

About three days later, I received another inquiry from a potential client who wanted to package my services with a presentation he was giving to secure a client. And, in the second week, I landed a client who gave me 4 writing projects in three days.

This client is a large SEO marketing firm and wants to put me on their permanent staff of writers (we'll see how this pans out).

While nothing beyond the current 14 writing assignments has panned out, the point I'm trying to get across is that if you make enough contacts, you will get work - especially in the SEO sector.

The best part of being an SEO content writer? You can start with no experience, no samples and no website.

Good luck if you decide to give this type of writing a try.

Press Release Writing - How To Propel Yourself To Fame With Press Releases

Press releases are a proven way to get more publicity, increase your reach, and get more visitors to your websites. But how do you make the most of them? And can it really be a quick way to get more sales and profits?

It can, once you know how. Writing a good press release doesn't take more than 30 minutes at most. If you become good at it, you can easily crank out one in 15 minutes.

Writing a press release is different from other forms of writing. You can't write it like an ad, or your content won't be accepted. You also can't write it like a content article, or you won't get the response you desired.

Your press release should read like a news report in a newspaper. After all, it's going out to the media! The media wants content that appeals to readers. So use these journalistic keys to guide you along: Where, What, When, How and Why. Follow those keys and you will be fine. Read a few newspaper reports to get a feel of the style of writing required before writing your PR.

Once your PR is finished, submit it using a submitter like PR Web, Web Wire or PR Leap. All these options are effective. By using these submitters, you can have your content syndicated on high-trafficked sites like MSN, Yahoo News etc.

So haven't written your press release yet? Go write one and submit it! It should not take too much of your time, and you can easily get a few thousand visitors to your website.

Article Marketing For Profit - Some Places Where You Can Sell Your Writings

Today, there are dozens of places where you can sell your articles. Typically these resources will fit into one of three categories. Depending on your writing style, how quickly you want to make money, and how much you want to make, one venue may work better than another. Without fail, as you develop better writing skills, you will be able to command higher rates no matter what market you choose.

First, you can purchase a market directory, such as Writer's Digest. This is ideal for writers that want to follow a traditional path to paper based publication. Unfortunately, if you have not sold articles before, or are new to the business of writing, it may be very difficult to break in. On the other hand, once you do make a sale, you can expect upwards of $30.00 per article. You may also want to try ezine publications. While they may not pay as much, they will give you some much needed name recognition.

Second, you may want to try offering your services at various freelance work sites. Typically, the articles you write will be designed based on customer specifications. You will also be working as a ghost writer, meaning that your name will never appear in conjunction with the article. Typically, you will be lucky if you get paid $2.00 to $5.00 per article at the beginning.

Irregardless of which method you choose, you should be able to make a decent living. Depending on sales volume, you may even want to work with both markets, and see if you can duplicate success in both places. One thing is for certain, you will always be learning something new, and enjoying the benefit of working on your own.

Advanced Profit Strategies, Part II - How To Up Sell, Cross Sell, And Sell Backend Products

Advanced profit strategies are necessary when competing in the increasing crowded internet marketing niches online, and these are just a few examples of what you must to do become ultra-profitable online fast.

Backend Products. On the back of each sour cream carton is a coupon. The coupon says 25% off the cost of a gourmet potato cooking class! Call 800-777-1111 to enroll! The cost of the cooking class is $100 but with the coupon is now only $75. For every 10 sour creams I sell, I might find that 3 people enrol in the class. Thats $225 (which is a lot of potatoes and sour cream!) You become so excited by this concept and you get so much margin on the classes, that you decide to mark the price of sour cream down to 25 cents which is actually a loss but you know youll make it up and a whole lot more for every class that you sell on the backend of the sale.

All of these are reasons why the cheapest place to buy milk is at the convenience store because the owners can rely on up-selling you to the gallon size and cross-selling you to the cookies!

The concept is the same on your web site. The goal is to get visitors to come into your online store. You make it easy and attractive for them to do so. You also make sure you have a wide selection of related products to up-sell and cross-sell. When you ship your products you make sure they go out the door with an offer for a high-profit item on the back-end. Thats merchandising.
